8am Saturday Mornings, 7pm Wednesday evenings
The training program starts December 2nd and continues through Mid-February. The training will finish with a 5K in February.
For those using this program to keep moving over the winter, you’re in the right place! We’ll keep you active through the winter months.
Many of you probably have anxiety about starting such a venture. We assure you that you can do it and we are here to help you achieve your training and fitness goals. We understand that everyone runs at a different pace and we’ll make sure no person gets dropped or left behind in the process. We ask that you do your self-guided homework, and come to as many Wednesday and Saturday group runs as possible. If you do the work, then running a 5K at the end will be a piece of cake.
We’ll have some easy paperwork to fill out and the $50.00 participation fee. This fee covers an ARS shirt (which will be given out on your first day), coaching, seminars on nutrition and cross training, and 15% off all of your purchases during the program. We also have an awesome beverage deal at Ram’s Head on Wednesday night for all interested after class. It’s the best way to get over HUMP day!
Your head coach is Paula Carrigan, she is USAT certified and coaching is 2nd nature to her. You’ll also have coaching support from RRCA certified coaches Dawn and Ryan.
